I have a troubled relationship with jean related articles of clothing that are not constructed from denim. My friend tried to convince me of the wonders of jeggings and I am still unsold. Get stretch skinny pants. Or just leggings. Cotton (or spandex, polyester whatever) should never have to PRETEND to be denim.
Then, as if jean-leggings weren't enough, television and late night infomercials tried to sell me the Pajama Jeans. Which just seems superfluous because as far as I'm concerned, nobody should have to impress their queen sized bed or their pet cat. And these are pretty much the same things as jeggings, except they come in wide-leg and flare styles that jeggings do not. (Correct me if I'm wrong.)
As if the fashion industry just wants me to writhe in pain, they added even more insult onto injury and literally just poured a vat of iodized salt onto an open wound with this:
SWEATPANT JEANS. And no, my little pumpkins, this is not a construction of some Snuggie spin-off company or a selective clothing line directed towards the jewels of humanity that end up on People of Walmart. These "Jogg-Jeans" are created by fashion label Diesel.
Did I miss something?
If you want to buy them (I am judging you) you can do so on their online website.
Gimme your thoughts on these Jogg-Jeans as well as Pajama Jeans and jeggings! I want to hear them all.
